The operation of the flip top cap closing machine starts with loading caps into the vibrating bowl, where vibration and air support ensure smooth movement and automatic rejection of wrongly oriented caps, allowing properly aligned caps to move through rods into the chute. In the chute, a linear vibrator and air pressure maintain a steady forward flow without gaps, while a pneumatic cylinder—controlled by a cap sensor—holds and releases caps at the correct timing. The caps then enter the Starwheel assembly, where they move continuously through multiple stages: brushing aligns the cap properly, guiding rods partially close the pressing portion, and a pneumatic hammer—activated by a sensor—firmly presses the cap using a round roller. Finally, the closed caps are discharged through an SS flat exit mechanism onto the conveyor. All machine operations, controls, and monitoring are managed efficiently through the HMI system.
